Statement

Hanna Kuhns is an abstract artist based in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Born in Munich, Germany, her work is shaped by both place and movement.

Working with printmaking, ink, acrylic, and mixed media, she develops images through an active process of layering, repetition, and response. As a skier and runner, she is drawn to momentum and risk—qualities that carry directly into the work.

Her work engages memory and presence, holding both what is immediate and what lingers beneath the surface.

Rhonda appears as a recurring figure within the work—direct, unapologetic, and fully alive in every sense.
